Spin-off
In May 2018, CC&B researchers founded the spin-off Complexdata, an innovative startup associated to Assolombarda.
The goal of Complexdata is to transfer to the market the results of cutting edge research on complex systems
and data science obtained at CC&B.
To enter the market, Complexdata developed a platform to calculate the score of aggressiveness of individual breast tumors using the trascriptome of bioptic samples. This project obtained wide recognition and was the winner of the G-factor competition (https://www.fondazionegolinelli.it/it/area-impresa/g-factor) of Fondazione Golinelli, who is now a partner of Complexdata.
